APSIPA ASC 2018 Registration

Please read the detailed information below before registration

All attendees (including presenters of papers and PhD forum participants) must have appropriate registration. For an accepted paper to be published in the conference proceedings, it must be covered by at least ONE full registration on or before September 10, 2018. Each author’s full registration can cover at most TWO papers that he/she authored or coauthored. No paper published in the conference proceedings can be covered with a student registration. Student registration fees are applicable only to full-time students. Each PhD forum summary must be presented by the PhD student with either a student registration or a full registration.

Papers without a full registration will be withdrawn from the program and the proceedings. A Registration Confirmation Number will be issued upon successful registration.

As a gentle reminder, please book your flights sooner rather than later to get better bargains on airfares.

No Show policy

Any accepted paper included in the final program is expected to have at least one author or qualified proxy register, attend and present the paper at the APSIPA ASC 2018 conference. The “no-show” papers will not be published by IEEE on IEEE Xplore® or other public access forums, but these papers will be distributed as part of the on-site electronic proceedings. For poster sessions, if the speaker is not present in front of the poster for most of the time during the poster session, it shall imply “no show”.

Each registration includes: one USB flash drive containing the conference proceedings; access to all conference sessions; access to all coffee breaks; one admission to the Welcome Reception on the evening of 12-November-2018; one admission to the Banquet on 14-November-2018; and a 1 year membership in APSIPA, valid until 31-December-2019.

Linking of Accepted Papers to Registration Record

For an accepted paper to be published in the conference proceedings, it must be covered by at least ONE full registration on or before September 10, 2018. Each author’s full registration can cover at most his/her TWO papers. No paper can be covered with a student registration. Student registration fees are applicable only to full-time students.   2. Member refers to Life Member or existing member that is given due to participating in previous APSIPA, i.e., the APSIPA 2017.

The Registration Fee is non-refundable. The Conference Organizing Committee has tried the best to keep the Conference Fee at the lowest. The charged fee is just to make the conference breakeven and the expenses have most been committed or spent. Hence, in any force majeure case that renders the cancellation of the Conference, the fee will not be refunded. However, in this special case, all accepted papers will still be listed in IEEE Xplore.
